If you are looking for a fast-paced, exciting “read in one sitting” book, then DON’T TELL by Karen Rose is it. I was drawn to this book by reading the first three or four pages and then could not put it down. Mary Grace is in a hospital recovering from a fall down the stairs when her husband visits, leans over her and whispers that if she tells anyone about what happened, he will kill her.

This is the story of an abused wife and mother who manages to escape her abusive husband (a cop) by faking her death and that of her son. Years go by and she still does not feel safe, even with a new identity and new life. Her husband, by chance, discovers that they are not dead and makes it his mission to find them.

This Bookfinds reviewer says the pacing is quite good and the characters well drawn. There is plenty of action and this book manages to hold your attention from beginning to end.
