The parade of books-to-tv continues with another Stephen King title, Lisey’s Story. Lisey is heading to Apple and will star Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore, who, along with JJ Abrams and Stephen King, will serve as producer of the 8-hour limited series.
Lisey’s Story is regarded as King’s most “personal and powerful novel.” It tells the tale of Lisey Debusher Landon who lost her husband, novelist Scott Landon, two years earlier. Scott was a very famous, and very complicated, author and his passing has left many fans searching for a piece of him to fill a void created by the loss. Lisey is forced to face her late husband’s demons and see realities that she never knew existed.
We can’t wait to see how this story evolves on Apple.
