Morning Glory Cover Change

Morning Glory by Sarah Jio

Sarah Jio’s upcoming release, MORNING GLORY, has undergone a bit of a facelift. This is the original cover image and below is the new, revised cover. What are your thoughts? Do you pick up a book based on its’ cover? Which cover do you like better and why?

Morning Glory by Sarah Jio

Summary:

New York Times bestselling author Sarah Jio imagines life on Boat Street, a floating community on Seattle’s Lake Union—home to people of artistic spirit who for decades protect the dark secret of one startling night in 1959.

Since her debut, Sarah Jio has enchanted readers with her signature brand of romantic suspense. Her previous novel, Blackberry Winter, was an immediate New York Times bestseller—perfectly positioning Morning Glory to reach even greater heights.

Fleeing an East Coast life marred by tragedy, Ada Santorini takes up residence on houseboat number seven on Boat Street. She discovers a trunk left behind by Penny Wentworth, a young newlywed who lived on the boat half a century earlier. Ada longs to know her predecessor’s fate, but little suspects that Penny’s mysterious past and her own clouded future are destined to converge.

I am not exaggerating when I say I have loved everything Sarah has written and have been a fan of hers since DAY ONE! I am so excited for her upcoming release and look forward to her long writing career.

  1. I haven’t read any of her books but I like the second cover. I think it’s beautiful – the first looks a little too cheesy perfect. Also, being at night or dusk it’s got a bit more atmosphere since there’s a dark mystery in the story. Which one do you like?

  2. I do shop by the cover usually, but in this case the only thing important is “Sarah Jio” on the cover. Done deal…. I’ll read it. But I do like the second cover better.
