THE CASUAL VACANCY by J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling is making one U.S. appearance for the release of her first adult novel, The Casual Vacancy. She will be speaking at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall on October 16th at 8pm. Author Ann Patchett will interview Rowling followed by questions from the audience. Rowling will then sign books.
Tickets go on sale Monday, September 10th f0r $37 if you buy them in the theater box, $43 if you buy them online, and $44 if you buy them over the phone. Tickets include a copy of the book.
The Casual Vacancy is Rowling’s first step away from the Harry Potter phenomenon and is the first book specifically geared towards adults. The book will be published by Little, Brown and Company.
