J.J. Abrams’ Wired Puzzles

Lost and Fringe creator J.J. Abrams may have found a way to save the floundering magazine industry: creating unique content that can only be accessed in the magazines.

In the May 2009 Issue of Wired Magazine, Abrams has taken over as a guest editor and has inserted  a bunch of riddles inside the magazine. Hidden clues can be found using Morse Code, alternative keyboard layouts (a la Raw Shark Text’s Qwerty codes,) and electrician’s wriring codes.

If you solve the riddles, you are sent to a hidden website where you send a email to a secret address.

Wired collaberated with Abrams “to immerse their audience in a series of riddles — some announced, others not — that were buried just deep enough for the readers who wanted to dig them up.”
