Well, it looks like Oprah has picked her FAVORITE gadget of all time…and it’s the KINDLE! She even gave every member of her studio audience a Kindle. Yet one more reason I want desperately to get tickets to her show…you never know what you might go home with. Oprah talked about how much she loved the ease and simplicity of the Kindle. How it was light, portable and could hold thousands of books! She pre-installed The Story of Edgar Sawtelle on every audience member’s Kindle because that is the current Oprah Book Club Selection (don’t you just love how everything is so connected!?)
So, is the Kindle going to be on anyone’s Holiday Wish List this year??? It’s certainly on mine!
I can not imagine using a Kindle. It is far to “new” for me. I am so slow to technology plus I just love the paper and feel of books. However, I can see where it would come in handy. Maybe in a couple of years after I’ve read my enormous TBR pile.
