Every week I will be bringing you a new BITE SIZE BLURB from new releases and old favorites. Writers (and other professionals) are often taught to learn the art of the elevator pitch. When selling anything, you need to get right to the meat of the story (product, idea, etc) in order to win over your audience. Authors need to learn this skill when pitching their book ideas to agents, editors and the media. It is an essential skill and one that needs to be practiced and refined. To kick off this new segment of Bookfinds we asked Lucy Clarke, author of the gorgeous debut novel, SWIMMING AT NIGHT to give us a Bite Size Blurb of her work.
Disturbed by her sister Mia’s suicide, Katie retraces her footsteps through the intimate pages of Mia’s travel journal to uncover the truth.
