Oftentimes a publisher will choose to keep the same cover, to hold onto the identity and brand recognition of a book. For THE AGE OF MIRACLES Random House has decided to switch things up. Below you will see the hardcover version and paperback of Karen Thompson Walker’s brilliant debut novel. What are your thoughts on the new paperback cover?

Age of Miracles was on my best of 2012 too! I love the colors of the original cover and while I like that the new one focuses on the young narrator, I think I prefer the original cover. Either way, great book!
